Pizzaville CMS Guide
This is the user guide for the Pizzaville content management system (the "admin"). The admin is where you edit the website: pages, the homepage, navigation, documents, marketing promotions, giveaways, and the mobile app content.
- Live admin: pv-admin.stagethis.dev
- What it controls: the public website and the mobile app read their content from this CMS.
How this guide is organized
The sidebar mirrors the admin navigation:
- Getting started - signing in, multi-factor authentication, and finding your way around.
- System - user accounts and the shared media library.
- Site content - pages, homepage, navigation, documents, and on-site copy.
- Marketing - cart upsells, top-up promotions, and the subscriber list.
- Giveaway - contest configuration.
- Operations - read-only logs (hidden from the sidebar).
- App Config - mobile app hero, push notifications, and activity.
- Menu & Products (OPAL) - how the menu, products, prices, and categories are configured in the OPAL back office (not this CMS), and how the CMS layers images on top.
Each module page follows the same layout: what it is, who can see it, where to find it (with screenshots), a field-by-field reference, and common tasks.
Two kinds of modules
- Collections are lists of many records (e.g. Pages, Documents, Users). You browse a list and open or create individual records.
- Globals are single configuration screens (e.g. Homepage, Navigation, Announcement Bar). There is exactly one of each.
Before you start
- You need an account. A Super Admin or Admin creates it for you.
- On first login you set up an authenticator app for multi-factor authentication. See Signing in & MFA.
- Your role (Editor, Admin, or Super Admin) determines which modules you can see.
